Checking out Temescal

August 21, 2011 · Medium Format, Oakland

I took my Mamiya for a walk through my (relatively) new neighborhood in Oakland, Temescal, and visited this abandoned restaurant that I often pass while driving.  It still has all this great neon – would have been fun to photograph at night if it was still open.  I love too there’s a ‘closed’ sign in the window…as if that wasn’t already obvious.   Camera: Mamiya 645Pro  Film: Kodak Portra 400.
